Academic Information

IHU Language Village is built upon the extensive experience of Ibn Haldun University’s School of Foreign Languages. The School offers English, Arabic, and Turkish preparatory programs. Most of our English instructors are native speakers from countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom. Our other instructors come from diverse backgrounds and speak English at a native-like level. All of our instructors hold a master’s degree in their field and possess internationally recognized certifications such as the Cambridge CELTA or DELTA.

At Ibn Haldun University, every student is evaluated individually, and a personalized language learning plan is created using a multiple intelligence approach under the guidance of language advisors. Additionally, Ibn Haldun University has the highest ratio of international students among higher education institutions in Türkiye.

Placement Test

Before the program begins, all participants take a placement test prepared by the Language Village team. This test is designed to holistically assess the students’ language skills. Class levels are determined based on these results. However, students may be reassigned to different level groups based on their development or actual proficiency if deemed necessary by the Language Village administration.

Attendance and Participation

Every hour of the Language Village  program is carefully planned, and each part of the schedule is considered an integral part of the learning process. Therefore, attendance in all lessons and activities is mandatory. To get the most out of the program, students are expected to participate actively. Attendance and participation are monitored by the Language Village management, and parents are informed of their child’s status when necessary.

Certificate of Participation and Final Test Results

At the end of the program, each participant receives a Certificate of Participation issued by İHU Language Village, along with the results of the final test.
