This year, IHU Language Village will take place at the Yalova Language Village, which is located very close to Yalova city center.
Yalova Language Village Address: Bahçelievler, Tigem Arazileri İçi Kamplar Bölgesi, Merkez/Yalova Merkez, 77200
Konum
Yalova Language Village offers various social facilities to participants. The camp area includes designated areas for sports activities such as swimming pools, football, basketball, and tennis courts. There are separate swimming pools for male and female students, and relaxing facilities such as a Turkish bath are also available throughout the camp period. Thanks to these facilities, students will have a socially and physically enriching experience alongside language learning.
Students will stay in villas with their peers. Each villa is equipped with a mini fridge and air conditioner for student use. Hot water is available 24/7. Bathrooms and toilets are located inside the villas. Additionally, students can purchase necessary items from the on-site market.
Three meals a day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—are served at the Yalova Language Village under hygienic conditions. Meals are carefully planned to meet students’ nutritional needs, and the menu is designed to be healthy and balanced.
Note: Please inform us in advance about any allergies or special dietary requirements.
You should pack comfortable, daily- wear clothes suitable for the camp. There is a laundry room available for participant use at the Language Village. Students may wash their clothes there for a small fee. For sports activities, please bring the appropriate gear (e.g., turf shoes for football, hiking shoes for trekking, swimwear such as shorts, etc.). Also bring your personal hygiene products: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, towel, slippers, etc. Sunscreen and a hat may be brought as needed. Students are also welcome to bring their own musical instruments.
The following items are not allowed in the Language Village: desktop computers, laptops, tablets, game consoles, all types of firearms and explosives, any kind of fire-starting tools, sharp or piercing items, all pets, electric kettles, and hot plates.
Even if not listed above, any item that could endanger individual or public health is strictly prohibited. Participants are also responsible for the safety of their valuable belongings.
During your stay at the Language Village, meals (3 times a day), all transportation, and all expenses related to the program content are covered by the Language Village. Any personal expenses outside of this are the responsibility of the participant.
Upon arrival at Yalova Language Village, students will be given villa cards. These cards are required for entering and exiting their villas, so it is very important that they are not lost. Students should carry their cards with them at all times and keep them safe.
